September 2018 Creating Options

The beautiful state of New Mexico offers many entertainment and exciting
opportunities to explore.  The fall season presents the State Fair followed
by the Balloon Fiesta.    People who are experiencing vision loss sometimes
find such activities challenging.  These activities may be enjoyed with some
thought and planning.  Join the Creating Options Support Group and share
these or other concerns to find feasible solutions.  

This group is facilitated by Nancy and Don Burns who have had years of work
experience with blind and visually impaired people.  Please join them and
share your concerns and problems over a cup of coffee on Wednesday,
September 19, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon.

This group meets the third Wednesday of each month at the New Mexico
Commission for the Blind.  The group will meet in the Skills Center Kitchen.
Parking is available on the south side of the building.  You can enter the
building at the Skills Center entrance located at the northeast corner of
the parking lot.  .
