Classroom Teacher

 

The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is currently recruiting for a Classroom Teacher.   This successful individual will have the flexibility in background and training to provide a comprehensive educational program to elementary students with visual impairments, and/or multiple disabilities.  Bachelor’s degree or higher in Elementary Education and/or Special Education required. Certification in Vision is preferred but can be acquired after hire. Must possess or be eligible for NM Public Education Department licensure. Will be required to become Braille proficient.  Full‑time, 9-month contract.  Position open until filled.
