LEGALLY BLIND JEWELER FEATURED

The recent focus of the Creating Options support group has been on
creativity for blind or visually impaired people.  All too often a talented
individual who begins to experience failing vision gives up pursuing his or
her gift.  It is possible to express creativity in many ways.  Exposure to
others who might be experiencing similar feelings becomes helpful.  Recent
attendees of this group have shared their talents and how they have overcome
vision loss.  It is our pleasure to feature during the June 19th Creating
Options.  The talents of Carlos Sanches and how he is overcoming decreasing
vision.   Carlos is a talented jeweler who hasn't allowed his vision loss to
curtail his desire to create beautiful jewelry.  

Join this group and share your own unique creativity.  

The hours are being extended until 2:00 p.m.  Bring your own sandwich as
snacks and drinks will be provided from 12 noon until 1:00 at which time
Caroline will teach interested persons how to crochet.  Don will demonstrate
the use of measuring devices such as the click-rule.    

June 19, 2019 from 10:00 to 2:00 p.m.

The group will meet in the Skills Center kitchen.  Parking is available on
the south side of building.  You can enter the building at the Skills Center
entrance located at the northeast area of the parking lot.
