Subject: Vaccine Event for Persons with Disabilities in Albuquerque on April
26 and 27

Persons who have disabilities are eligible to participate in a vaccine event
taking place in Albuquerque on April 26 and 27. The event will be from 10:00
AM to 5:00 PM, and will be at the Berna Facio Professional Development
Center that is near Louisiana and Comanche. It is a drive through event
only. Participants will be receiving the Moderna vaccine, and another event
for the second dose will be taking place four weeks later. If you live near
Albuquerque and have registered at the www.vaccinenm.org
<http://www.vaccinenm.org> web page and indicated that you are blind or
visually impaired, you may have or may soon be receiving an invite to this
event. If you have not received an invite and want to participate, please
contact us by 11:00 AM on Wednesday and we will work to get you included.
Please either contact Greg Trapp at 505-383-2231 or greg.trapp at state.nm.us
<mailto:greg.trapp at state.nm.us> , or Kelly Burma at 505-383-2277 or
Kelly.burma at state.nm.us <mailto:Kelly.burma at state.nm.us> . We can also
provide you with the consent and screening forms.

ABQ Ride is making special arrangements for persons taking Sun Van,
including transporting riders who are not registered with the Sun Van
system. Sun Van will also be participating in the drive through, meaning
that riders can remain on the van for the entire trip. Persons are also free
to use ride sharing or make other transportation arrangements.

If you are unable to register for the vaccine online, you may contact the
Aging and Disability Resource Center, which is part of Aging and Long Term
Services. They can be reached at 800-432-2080.
