Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments - Technology Consultation
The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Outreach Services
Division is currently recruiting for a Teacher of Students with Visual
Impairments (TSVI). This position will be required to travel to students'
school districts to provide consultative services related to assistive
technology to be used by students with visual impairments, and/or multiple
disabilities.  The TSVI consults with TSVI/COMs, classroom teachers, the
assistive technology department in the school district, and the student in
applying computers and related assistive technologies to support the
teaching and learning to students with visual impairments.  The position is
190 contracted days.  Must be eligible for certification in New Mexico and
must meet NMSBVI's Braille proficiency requirement.  Position available for
the  2022-2023 school year.  Applications accepted until filled.
