Procurement Specialist 
 
The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is recruiting a Procurement Specialist.  This individual will direct and oversee all activities pertaining to procurement and contracts.  Responsible for coordinating with Plant Operations Manager and the Superintendent or the Business and Finance Director on all aspects of capital projects.  Bachelor’s degree is preferred or a minimum high school diploma with one to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Required to maintain updated certifications in Procurement and be certified as the Chief Procurement Officer.  This is a 12‑month position. Applications accepted until filled.
