3.Reciting/reading of the NFB pledge: Adelmo Vigil, State Affiliate vp

I pledge to participate actively in the efforts of the National Federation
of the Blind; to achieve equality, opportunity, and security for the blind;
to support the policies and programs of the Federation; and to abide by its
Constitution.  

 

4.One Minute Message, Solidad Vigil, member

            The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not
the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people because low expectations of blind people create
obstacles between blind people and their dreams. You can live the life you
want; blindness is not what holds you back.

b.	Fundraising, Martin Gallegos, committee chair  

*	June 1st -Bonito Valley Brewery
*	Stipend to pay for State Convention Banquet for the first 5 people
that register (must attend banquet)
*	Sell raffle tickets to cover cost of two nights stay at the State
Convention (must attend convention activities)
*	2nd Annual fundraiser in Los Alamos
