Greetings,

My name is Judy Jones, and I am a senior.  I work for the state of Idaho, and live in Twin Falls.

My blindness is caused by ROP, Retinopathy Of Prematurity, so grew up, living a full life as a blind person.

My parents were military, so we moved a lot, and have had chances to live in several different places.  In the 34 years my husband, Chris, and I have been married, we have moved a few times, but moving when organized, does not have to be daunting.

We raised two beautiful girls who are living in Washington state.  OUr eldest is about to get married.

I am looking forward to dialoguing with others, as our local NFB chapter is comprised mainly of seniors who are very new to the issues of blindness.  I’ll be looking for advice on how to help them, as well as hoping to help someone on this list.
