Dear Fellow Seniors
RE: Visiting one of the several of our very fine Senior Divisions who have a
phone meeting, and more!!!
True. We, who have a Senior Division within our state affiliate, would super
enjoy having a senior from any where within the Federation family, come join
in on a meeting/call. I know New Jersey has a monthly phone meeting. And
what I am proposing is, that we on this list who have a phone meeting,
should announce and encourage visitors! I now plan to routinely post my
monthly notice here on this list. The one this month was just a fluke, a
spur of the moment type of thing.
Secondly, on our website, I being the webmaster, I suggest that we add a
page that lists where our Senior divisions are. Also, post contact
information on who to call for ... whatever reason: talk on how to start a
Division; share ideas on meeting topics, etc.
Respectfully yours,
Robert Leslie Newman
NFBN Senior Division, President

phone meeting
Thank-you NFB of Nebraska, Senior Division for extending this invitation.
Kansas is in the early development stage for starting such a division and
hope to learn from other established divisions the "how to" help our state's
seniors looking for help in their adjustment to vision loss. I will be
calling in as perhaps some others in Kansas. Dianne Hemphill
