-First- Come to order, introductions, say our NFB pledge; Chris will
present.

 

-Second- Presentation by guest speaker, Don Fidone - information about his
new business start-up - DCanes, a manufacturer of long white canes; right
here in the suburbs of Omaha, Nebraska. Learn what the cane will be like,
how it is made, what it will cost, and how to get one! Note: Don will be
joining our Senior Division. 

 

-Third- our second guest speaker, Deanna Jesse, Program Specialist for Older
Blind Services, with the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually
Impaired - She will talk to us about the May conference for Nebraska senior
blind, Living the Full Life 

 

-Fourth - Secretary & Treasurers Reports Will be given

 

--OLD BUSINESS: 

-Membership- do make calls to past members who have not joined us during
recent meetings. And/or think of someone new to call and invite to join us
for this or next month's meeting.

-Report on March 7th NCBVI's effort to get additional funding for Senior
Blind Services

-Any additional news about NCBVI and its move into Order of Selection; new
rules by which the blind will receive services

-Any other old business you may bring

 

--NEW BUSINESS:

 

-Discuss NFB's upcoming legislature blitz; going to the capital building and
talking with Senators; March 20 

-Anything you may bring
