Hello Federationists

Here is an update to the registration and more of what you can look forward
to at the NFB of Utah Diamond convention held at the Marriot Downtown City
Creek, in Salt Lake City; 75 South West Temple, on April 13-15, 2017.

The 2017 Theme: "A World of Promise & Possibility"

Here is an update on those who have preregistered,
Salt Lake leads Weber/Davis by 12 who is only 7 ahead of Red Rock who is 13
ahead of Utah Valley. Summet County is 1 ahead of Cache Valley.
We have 15 visiting from Mineisoda and Colarado.

Will you be attending NFBU State convention? Have you ever wanted to in on
the fashion show, or have enjoyed the fashion show in the past and want to
jump on board again? Now is your chance! Join us for the fourth annual
descriptive fashion show to take place at our 60th anniversary convention!
Theme: A World of Fashion! Not only are there a world of possibilities out
there for us, there's also a world of fashion to go with it!
Choose American, China, France! Choose any country that interests you and
plan your costume choice around it!
Where: National Federation of the Blind of Utah's diamond anniversary
convention.
When: Friday April 14, 2017, during lunch!
Everyone is welcome!! 60 years is something to celebrate, so let's keep the
celebration going all weekend long!

• Newly elected President Dr. Fred K. Schroeder, of The World Blind Union;
•              Michael Hingson representing Aira Tech;
•              The Salt Lake City Mayor Jackie Biskupski will be speaking
at our general session;
• Representative Patrice Arent will be speaking;
• the annual affiliate auction;
 •              Completely non-visual, beeping Easter Egg Hunt;
•              Special sessions for parents of blind children, spouses,
college students, and Vocational Rehab counselors;
