[Nfb-web] Looking for advice re streaming

hi Arnold,

the cabling is easy as the xlr microphone cables are keyed and one plug has
holes and the other end has the pins.
our troubles last year in missouri was the hotel promised a wired ethernet
connection and yes, we had a cable but we didn't know the cable only ran to
a wireless box and then a wireless signal floated to somewhere else.
Plus, while i was sitting at the equipment table the previous night trying
to configure the hotel connection and test everything, people wouldn't tell
me when they disconnected/connected cables to the microphones, so the 48
volts were flowing from the mixer and two microphones were blown out.
we should probably discuss what programs and versions of software have
worked well and how to know when the source has dropped.
