[Nfb-web] Test Site Question About Drupal

Everett,

I'm taking your advice. I uninstalled 6.6 using the same Fantastico tool
and am now trying to install 6.10 manually. The thing is, I feel stupid
reading the instructions provided in the links you sent me. Please tell me
I only need to learn about SQL databases and such once and that every other
upgrade in the future will be similar. *smile* At twenty-six I am already
too impatient to read through manuals. Mostly I think they're poorly
written and assume the person has an above par technical background. Thank
you for the links though. I'll conquer it yet but would appreciate any
tricks and tips you may have to make this process a little less painful.

Good evening Joe,

I understand that you have already installed D6.6 and do not
wish to reinstall. I would recommend in the future that you
install drupal installations manually, and not through an
automated tool like Fantastico. The reason for this is that
you will become more familiar with how the application works,
this will make things like updating and patching easier.
