Below are the details for this Thursday's NFB News-Line seminar. Please share this information widely. Consider attending whether you are registered for the service or not.

According to Scott White, the seminar host, the first 20 minutes of the seminar are dedicated to letting people know the ways in which people can access the service. After the introductory section, he will take a deeper dive into some of the newer functions of the service. This may help those with busy schedules set aside the first half hour to get the basics.

Registration for the seminar is not required. Let me know if you have questions.

  *   Discover how to access over 500 publications, emergency weather alerts, TV listings, job listings, international and local newspapers like the Arizona Daily Star, Arizona Republic, and East Valley Tribune, and keep up with blindness community news and events.


  *   Find out about the latest updates to the service that make it even easier to get news and information specially designed to meet your preferences. Ex., set up an automatic email pulling together sports articles from specific newspaper sent straight to your inbox.



  *   Get your questions about NFB-NEWSLINE answered.

NFB-NEWSLINE is a free audio and braille information service that opens up a world of information to anyone who is blind, low vision, DeafBlind, or is unable to use regular print materials due to a disability. It is available to eligible Arizona residents through a partnership between the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records and the Arizona Department of Economic Security.
