the only time limit is for people who receive any type of SSI benefits. For
those on SSDI or Social Security retirement benefits only there is no time
limit to spend the money.

For Clarification:

For those that only receive SSDI, do we have atime limit to spend this
money? I want to make sure that I do not get caught up with legalities.

Thanks.

Hi,
This settlement is truly a God-send in that I will be able to use it towards
finally replacing my rotten, leaky roof! Thanks for letting me know that it
had to be spent within one month, keeping receipts. I am on SSI. Does
anyone know what we would owe the IRS out of this?
Thanks,
Jennifer
