[Nfbc-info] Scramble Pedestrian Intersections?

I have not run into one of these yet but I heavily deepend  on noise from parallel traffic, especially if I am using a cane instead of my dog. I think crossing diagnally would present an interesting challenge. it might be a time when audible signals are actually useful.
