What I don't dig is the way they do numbers like for instance 55.20+4090
the plus symbol looks like dot 5 followed by the dots 2 3 5 and the
numbers have a number sign following each pair of numbers. I don't like
it either but it is what it is going to be unfortunately and I have to
be up on it when it comes to this if I need to request stuff in braille
for future reference I think that the BANA web site might have resources
brailleauthority.org I believe is the site. Also, I heard somewhere that
NBP National Braille Press has hard copy of this code but hey, I could
be wrong.

Teachers have a sacred task:
It is to give children the skills to understand the world and an expectation that the world is a trustworthy place; that it is full of light, and love, and music and that each student deserves--and will have--their own place in it and the chance to play their own song.
And, as much of these expectations are transmitted non-verbally—and in Chela’s case--out of sight…it is the voice and touch of a Teacher that sheds light on what the world can be.
Academics—and no one will ever change my mind on this—take a distant second place. —Former Orientation & Mobility Instructor Dr. Bil Hawkins
