Hi,
I am not able to complete their (Amazon's) feedback. I can go to "yes" or
"no" okay, and fill in my comments okay. But the checkboxes to respond to
specific questions don't work. So when I go to submit my feedback, it won't
always submit because I haven't made any choices.

They sometimes have buttons that do not say what they are. I forget the word
they often say. Whatever it is, it doesn't tell you what it is for. I call
it a "mystery" button so right now "mystery" is the only word I can think of
and that isn't it. "Query" I think.

I have been using Internet Explorer 11 and that might be the culprit more
than Amazon. I just downloaded Google Chrome, so we'll see if it works
better.

Speaking of issues, does anyone have instruction on how to use Microsoft
Edge with Windows 10? I can't get it to read much of anything.
Thanks,
Lauren

Lauren,

You and I seem to have different experiences from others on this list. Could
you give some examples?

I acknowledge that tech-saavy is not one of my superpowers. On the other
hand problem-solving and tenacity is one of my strengths. I am able to
identify some work-arounds and reach out for support. Sharing specifics
about your encounters might help us all, and may also yield solutions for
you; me and others on this list.

Hi,
I would like that info also. Every time they "upgrade" their system (which
is quite often) they've done something to ake it harder for us to read the
screens.

Unrelated, I've found it much more difficult lately to shop on Amazon. They
don't just have free 2-day shipping now it is "free 2-day shipping with a
qualifying order of $35." For example. On several potential purchases, I
wasn't going to get my item until January.

They're going to lose customers with tactics like that.
Thanks,
Lauren

Hello All,

I'm wondering if anyone is aware of any on-going conversations between the
NFB and Amazon concerning the removal of access barriers.

I am an Amazon Prime member and I primarily rely on voiceover in conjunction
with my iPhone 7. I encountered a hand full of anomalies both last year and
this year. Last year I spoke to Amazon Leadership and they assured me they
wrote up a couple of tickets to address the glitches. However, despite
iPhone updates since last November, I encountered most of the same
challenges. This time I wrote a letter to Jeff Basso's team.

Guess what? My "concerns" have been re routed back to the Accessibility Team
who may have received the "ticket" created on my behalf a year ago. After a
few back-and-forth correspondences with a letter writer for Basso's team, I
am not convinced anyone is going to fix buttons and label some graphics.
That brings me back to my initial pondering in this message, is the NFB
still in conversation with Amazon? If so, how would I go about sharing my
correspondence and experiences with NFB?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,

Lisa Irving-Pardini
