[nfbcs] Windows Genuine Advantage Notification question

Group,

        What exactly is Windows Genuine Advantage Notification?  On my XP 
machine I've been prompted to run updates probably close to a dozen times 
over the last few weeks and the only thing that appears in the list of the 
updates is this Windows Genuine Advantage.  At the rate it keeps asking to 
update I am starting to wonder if the program isn't buggy or worse.
