[nfbcs] getting critical

For whatever it's worth, I have to use Thunderbird at work, and I *hate*
it. It doesn't always show the text I'm typing. It doesn't always show
who I'm sending to. It sometimes acts like Jaws is not in forms mode, and
thinks I'm looking for a table when I'm typing a t. These things happen
almost every day.
However, I am not using the latest Jaws, since that doesn't work well with
the terminal emulation I need to do my job. Your results may vary.
