[NFBCS] Hotkeys for changing Win 10 audio output

Thanks, that's a good idea. I had set JAWS in the windows Mixer where I
wanted it, but a docking station kept stealing it anyway randomly.

Hopefully this will fully prevent JAWS from being randomly hijacked when
plugging in a different device.

Best,
Charles

Charles:
One way around this would be to change the JAWS Sound Card prior to plugging
in the device. If you look under JAWS Utilities, Sound Cards, you will see
that JAWS is set to use the Default sound card. If you change JAWS to use
your preferred sound card, it should stay on this card, even if you add
another device.
Hope this helps.
Jim

Good morning all,

Does anyone have a good suggestion for getting Windows 10 to switch the
audio output by hotkey?

The problem I have is when plugging in a USB-C audio device or projection
system that doesn't actually support audio but Windows thinks it does then
JAWS is lost to that device. I'm trying to find a non-sighted way of
getting it back.

Googling I've found Near CMD and one or two other apps. But I'm looking for
something that can be done on any PC without having to customize by
installing 3rd party (potentially questionable) apps.

Thanks,

Charles
