Although a few of us here have used Visual Code a little, there are a number of people using it heavily on the Program-L list as Chris mentioned.  In addition, there is a Microsoft employee who is active in the Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code products who monitors that list.  It is probably worth your time to subscribe.  In addition, Microsoft seems pretty committed to increasing the accessibility of these products, and the more of us who become familiar with them, the more significant will be our input.

Hi folks,

I'm starting to learn R, Python, and Ruby in Visual Studio Code. Does
anyone know how to turn on screen-reader mode and leave it as the
default mode? For some reason, VSCode isn't recognizing that I have
Jaws on.

Also, I'm having difficulty navigating the interface. Any tips would
be very much appreciated. Thanks.
