Good afternoon Joe. I have several Lenovo think pads, or, more specifically, I have access to several of them. Most of them are either Lenovo L 15s, or Lenovo E 15s, The two models are similar, 2021 or 2022 purchase dates, however, the E 15 has a very flaky, ethernet connector, whereas the L 15 design is a little more reliable. I have not had any issues with either of them. The one which I use as my primary laptop is an L 15, and, other than upgrading the memory from 16 GB to 32 GB, I have not any issues with it Related to jobs for windows or related to the M3 65 suite of products. With all that said, I’m not a developer, I work as a computer support specialist, so, I keep very few items on the local machine. So, anytime I encounter the sorts of issues that you are experiencing, my goals are usually to investigate for a hardware related issue or, if I don’t think it’s hardware related, I usually just re-image and start from scratch. I hope this response is of some assistance, please feel free to write to me directly if I can be more help.

I bought a Thinkpad Carbon last summer, and even though it has much better specs than my older machine, it somehow feels slower than my faithful old laptop. 32 GB RAM, I7 processor, plenty of SSD space, but somehow it feels as though JAWS is more sluggish.

Sometimes it won’t fully rotate around open applications while using Alt Tab. If I’m in a Word file, sometimes it’ll read paragraphs while using CTRL + Up and Down Arrow, sometimes it won’t.
