Mientras asiste a la Convención 2011, de la Federación Nacional de Ciegos, en el Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, no se olvide de visitar el área de literatura gratuita, salones Sebastian K y L Ballrooms, Nivel 1, para recoger las copias de la Guía del Votante Ciego, Blind Voter's Guide, y la Guía de Registro de la Campaña del Votante Ciego, The Blind Voter Registration Drive Guide. Ambas guías fueron preparadas por el Instituto Jernigan de la Federación, gracias a una conceción del Departamento de Salud y Servicios Humanos de los Estados Unidos.
 
La Guía no partidista del Votante Ciego discute el derecho de las personas ciegas a emitir un voto privado e independiente, garantizado por el Acta de Ayuda para el Voto de América, (HAVA), por qué es importante votar, y cómo registrarse para votar. Está disponible en Braille, letra agrandada, y cinta de audio.

While attending the 2011 convention of the National Federation of the Blind at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, don't forget to visit the free literature area, Sebastian K and L Ballrooms, Level 1, to pickup copies of The Blind Voter's Guide and The Blind Voter Registration Drive Guide.  Both guides were prepared by the NFB Jernigan Institute under a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
 
The nonpartisan Blind Voter's Guide discusses the right of blind individuals to cast a private and independent vote, as guaranteed by the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), why it is important to vote, and how to register to vote.  It is available in Braille, large print, and audiocassette.  
 
Hosting a voter registration drive is a great way for state affiliates and local chapters to attract new members and serve your community.  The Blind Voter Registration Drive Guide will provide you with the tools necessary to plan and hold a voter registration drive for the blind members of your community.  It is available in Braille and large print.
