Hi Jorge thanks for your message. Two years ago I had a meeting with my Dbs counselor. She had scheduled a previous meeting, but the meeting location did not open until 9-jj Am and she wanted to meet at 11-jj Am that Friday morning. I wrote an email to the Director of Dbs. In that email, I expained that I wanted to attend the Louisiana Center For The Blind. However, I was encouraged to attend the Rehab Center in Daytona, Beach. I know you went through there Independent Living Skills program. Why do you feel the need to attend one of the Nfb training centers? Research all three of the adult programs at the Nfb training cenjers. Email the directors and tell them what you are wanting to do. Keep in mind that your Dbs counselor may try to send you back to the Rehab Center.

Sincerely,

Roanna Bacchus
