I am definitely going to listen. When I was much younger, my mom and I
watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade every year. It was a tradition.

Hi You All

Bet you all have heard a little bit about this happening.

Subject: Audio Descriptions Available for Macys Parade

The following announcement is for your information:

Audio Descriptions Available for Macys Parade this week

For the first time in Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade broadcast history, NBC
Universal is providing the full NBC broadcast with live audio description on
the Secondary Audio Program channel (S A P), provided by Descriptive Video
Works. This year's broadcast will be available with additional audio
narration, describing the rich visuals of the Parade including the
magnificent balloons, floats and performances, to complement the
storytelling and celebration that make the Parade an annual Thanksgiving Day
tradition for millions of Americans. The parade is Thursday, November 26
from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m., EST.

Note: Many current TV's do have the Secondary Audio Program channel (S A P).
In some cases there is a button for it on the remote; sometimes on the TV,
itself.

Respectfully yours,

Robert Leslie Newman

NFB seniors division, Second Vice President

NFB of Nebraska Senior Division. President

NFB of Nebraska Omaha Chapter, Secretary
