Good Morning!

The 2010 state convention is fast approaching. The deadline for
pre-registration is September 15th, one week from today. Ranelle is hard at
work trying to get things in order so don't wait until the last minute.
Remember, you will pay $5 extra for registration, the luncheon and the
banquet if you miss the deadline.

I received a reply from Dr. Sharon Davis, Director of ECE in Jeff County.
Basically she believes the Braille Clerks are doing a good job and a
knowledge of technology in this day and age is more important than knowing
Braille. What a crock. I plan to take further action. I realize that they
aren't going to change their minds, but I intend to make them look stupid
nevertheless. I only hope a parent of a Braille reader has enough insight to
take a close look, or get someone else to see what is being produced by the
"Braille Team." I think that is our only hope of getting something done.
