The Louisiana Center for the Blind is pleased to announce the dates of our
2011 summer programs.



LCB will host one session of the Buddy Program, for students in grades 4-8,
from Sunday, July 17 through Saturday, August 6, 2011.



The Summer Training and Employment Project (STEP) Program for blind students
entering either the 10th, 11th, or 12th grades in the fall of 2011, will
take place from Sunday, June 5 through Saturday, August 6, 2011.



Both of these residential programs are hosted in the city of Ruston,
Louisiana. Please contact Eric Guillory, Director of Youth Services for more

eguillory at lcb-ruston.com. Enrollment applications for both programs may be
found on the LCB website under the Programs and Services heading. These
challenging and rewarding programs strive to enhance students' skills of
blindness while simultaneously fostering a positive philosophy of blindness
for students and their families. These initiatives have truly been
life-changing for literally scores of families.
