Good Evening,
Below is information sent from OFB regarding action needed to continue our work on WIA. Brett Guthrie is on the House Education and Workforce Committee. We are being asked to contact him to voice our opinion. No one can do this better than NFB. There are two attachments, one with contact info and the other is a sample letter.

> Thank you for your help as we continue our advocacy efforts related to Workforce Investment Act (WIA) reauthorization legislation. It has come to our attention that the House and Senate are in active discussions and may be moving closer to reaching a compromise on language. The RSA move and Section 511 remain major sticking points and we need your help immediately in keeping pressure on Members of Congress, about these issues, as House and Senate staff debate this bill.
>
> Specifically, we are asking you and/or other constituents in your state to reach out to Representatives from your state on the House Education & Workforce Committee (a list is attached). A draft letter is also attached for you to use as a starting point. We would like you to include any state-specific or other additional information that you know would be helpful to what we are trying to achieve. We have to get letters done this week, if at all possible, as we have heard there may be some agreement on bill language by the end of this month.
>
> I am attaching a contact sheet with phone and fax numbers. We ask that you fax your letter to both the Washington DC office and the District office for each member from your state on the list. Please also email your letter to any contacts you may have in the District office or in DC. Please let me know as you finalize and send in letters, as we are keeping track of which offices have been contacted and where we need to focus additional attention.
