[Nfbk] FW: Update on Jimmy

Greetings:

 

For those of you who know Jimmy Brown from KATS. Jimmy had a massive heart
attack on Saturday and is in the Methodist hospital in Indianapolis.

 

OVR FAMILY.UPDATE ON JIMMY.

 

 

Here is a brief update, if you would like to share with others. Please feel
free to edit as you see fit.

 

Sheila and I talked with Jimmy's wife, Tina yesterday afternoon. Jimmy was
moved to the Cardiovascular Unit where he was placed on an ECMO machine. 

This machine is similar to the heart/lung bypass machine used in open heart
surgeries but can be used for a longer time. With use of this machine,
Jimmy's condition improved for the first time since his arrival at the
hospital on Saturday. 

Next week as long as his health remains stable, doctors will consider the
much needed surgery to start addressing the repair/s to his heart.

It is a long road but, as in every journey there has to be a first step.
This is Jimmy's.
