Hello Terry,

Thank you for inquiring. The meetings for the chapter here in Prince Georges
County have been established as fourth Saturdays of the month. For February,
the date is the 27th.  The time established is 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. The meeting
format includes business, discussions, and speakers until 3 P.M. with
Networking, Committee Meetings. And refreshments until 4 P.M.

As discussed, we have obtained the Vista Gardens Community Center located at
Vista Gardens Shopping Center in Bowie, Maryland. That center is located at
the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway and Lottsford Vista
Roads.
 In an effort to prevent confusion, our committee is in the process of
obtaining the exact address of the Community Center as the Shopping Center
has a range of variable numbers. 

It is my intent to obtain that exact address and forward the information to
interested persons via this List Serve, emails, and USPS mail to those in
which we have no email address. My target date to have that information sent
out is by the end of this week to provide sufficient time for arrangements
for transportation.

Hi everyone,

 

I attended the first meeting of the new Prince George's chapter of NFB and
paid my dues.  It was my understanding that meetings would take place once a
month, on the 4th Saturday of each month.  But I was not able to write down
the time and place of the meetings.  I understood that an email with this
and other information would be forthcoming, but have not received such an
email.  

 

My city is making gratefully making transportation arrangements for the
handful of us who live here.  We have to make reservations for the
transportation in advance, and have to show the city that enough of us are
interested in the meetings to provide this service.  

 

So, I'm wondering if anyone can confirm the date, time, and place of the
February meeting, as well as future meetings.
