[NFBMD] Call for Toiletries and More

Hello All,

 

2015 will be our  6th effort to provide hygiene kits to homeless persons. To
date, the National Harbor Chapter, along with generous contributions, has
been able to donate over 850 kits to those who are in need. 

 

This year, in addition to toiletries and washcloths, we are adding clean
socks. Earlier this year, based upon a  winner of one of the Presidents
Student Community Service Awards, we learned clean socks mean much to a
person  in the state of homeliness ("Sockability".  

 

So, as you are packing for Convention, please include toiletry items that
can and would be appreciated by those  who can benefit from our efforts. Any
member of the National Harbor Chapter will be willing to collect your items.
We are grateful of those who have already donated and look forward to being
able to help those who could use a  hand up. Help us surpass the goal of
1,000 donations this year!
