The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.

The Computer Science Department at the University of Maryland, College Park, seeks blind and low-vision adults to participate in a co-design lab study.

The participants will work together with the research team to design and evaluate early prototypes that help blind and low-vision users to design and create websites by themselves.

The co-design lab study will be held at the Brendan Iribe Center at the university or at your home. The on-campus address is 8125 Paint Branch Dr, College Park, MD. If the participants opt for conducting the research at home, the research team will travel to your place with permission.

Participants should be blind or low-vision adults who are potentially interested in creating web pages. Prior experience is welcome but not required. No technical background is required.

To sign up for the study, please fill the following form: https://forms.gle/WBJggHEsG3QaphnS6

Time required: about 90 minutes but no more than 120 minutes.

Compensation: $15 per hour (Amazon gift cards)
