[NFBMD] Blind Adults ages 18-65 needed for research study: How accessible and usable are internet web archives

The below research participant solicitation is being provided for informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our research mission.

Blind Participants Needed - Accessibility Research
We are conducting a study to understand how accessible and usable internet web archives are for people who are blind. We are looking for research participants who meet the following criteria:


  *   Adults 18-65 years of age.
  *   Legally Blind.
  *   No motor impairments.
  *   Familiarity with screen readers.
  *   Familiarity with web browsing on computers.
  *   Own a laptop computer.

Each participant will take part in one testing session, approximately half an hour to an hour-long session. The participants will be expected to bring their own laptop computer for the study. The study will take place at the National Federation of the Blind headquarters in Baltimore, 200 East Wells Street, Baltimore, MD 21230. We will provide $25 as compensation for the study, and we will also cover additional local travel costs.
