You're Invited: Sept 13th Disabled Marriage Equality event - performance art, dance party, and cake!

Dear Disability Advocate Colleagues

We would love for you to be involved in DREDF's DC Action for Disabled Marriage Equality on September 13, 2023 in Washington DC. 

Part political rally, part performance art, Patrice Jetter will perform a mass commitment ceremony for 100+ disabled people and their partners on the Mall facing the Capitol building. In this performance art piece, they will throw the spotlight on all the disabled people who would love to get married without facing devastating financial consequences. This action has all the makings of a joyous spectacle with a powerful message.
