Hi all,

This message was sent to me and I offered to pass it along to the list. If
anyone knows of any roommate opportunities for this young woman please
contact the social worker. Otherwise, I am unaware of specific housing for
just blind/low vision individuals.

Thanks,

Mary Jo

Subject: Blind client in Baltimore

Good morning Ms. Hartle,

My name is Naomi and I work at a domestic violence center here in Baltimore.
I have been working with a young woman who is being abused in her home and
we are trying to find alternate housing for her. I have tried researching
different options for her, but keep hitting speedbumps along the way. Would
you know if there are housing options specifically for blind women, or if
other people in the area are looking for roommates? I am looking for places
for her on bus lines and/or where Mobility can pick her up, but cannot seem
to find affordable housing. She is very interested in living with someone
else.

If you do know of any resources, or can redirect me to someone who may, I
would be most appreciative.

Thank you in advance for your time,

Naomi
