[nfbmi-talk] Minutes, January 6, 2011, 8:30 P.M.

Dear Joe,

Your understanding of the motion is clear and accurate. The board had a
great discussion on this topic and weighed all the points. We ant to use
our funds widely, but we also want to be sure to fulfill our obligations as
an affiliate of the NFB. Those who want to go and put our the effort should
be encouraged and assisted in any way we can help them. I know the back and
forth on this left some folks unsure of the outcome or final support, so
restating it is not a bvad thing. I for one was sincere in my support of
the female room and I think others were as well once all the facts were
presented. I to would contribute to the support of this room and any member,
including Elizabeth, is they needed support to conduct the bbusiness of our
organization. Thank you Joe for offering this support as well. None of
us our perfect, but we all work hard to do our best.

Best regards,
Dave Robinson

Elizabeth and Donna,

Once again you both know precisely how the motion was phrased and indeed
passed twice over again. You, Elizabeth have the room with Mary Wertzel paid

for by the members of the NFB MI and if others from NFB MI who are women are

to join with you then the room payments will continue. If there are other
members of NFB, women who wish to share the room but who are not members of
NFB MI then they must share, pro rata the room expense.

If anyone wishes to challenge my recollection of the motions or events then
I should refer them to the recordings of this event. However, I suggest,
with all patience expired at this late hour that you, Elizabeth and others
continue to make mountains out of moe hilss at exhaustive expense and at
diliatory purpose for those in NFB MI who wish to actually get about to
business.

Furthermore, while I have not openly commented upon this before, and that is

only in the interest of unity, which was rather admittedly stupid on my
behalf, I must state that if you wish Elizabeth for the record to be trully
reflective of statements made that you innacurately stated that the reason
you wished to have the room to yourself and for whomever you stated from
another state was because as again you stated publicly last year the youth
didn't make visits to our reps. This clearly was not true and it denigrated
the rokle of Melinda and our youth group.

Now, if you, Elizabeth or others have direct evidence to the contrary I
would hope that you would support those allegations with facts and for the
record.

If I am mistating events or misinterpreting them I will submit to each and
every member of the board on these accounnts and as to the taped, or
recorded record.

If that is done Elizabeth I will apologize to you with a public microphone
from the highest public building of your chosing as well as of course, on
this list and others for that matter.

Shoot if innacurate in the least detail I'm willing to have a llie detector
test, a public flogging, and a Partridge in a Pear tree to satisfy you.

Now, as a member all I expect from you, and others is to simply take "Yes"
for an answer and not to be pervisely devisive with no purpose whatsoever
except, perhaps to extend some sort of personal agenda or grudge or another
against the commonweal and the common interest and the common defense of
commonly held rights and responsabilities.

Contrary to common slander I do not welcome debate for the simple sake of
it. Nor do I relish confrontation between peers for the sake of it. Nor do I

wish any ill will upon you or your faction such as it is. But, neither do I
care one wit for trifles and bovine scatology and/or deflection. diffusion,
delusion, or other silly little and petty drama games.

There is serious business goingon here which impacts the lives of all blind
folks in this state and, indeed in America and even around the globe.

Certainly my way is not the "only way" and I do not presume to be that all
knowing or all powerful for I am not, after all "God".

I say these things to pre-empt ad hominum attacks and to point to, once
again the public record which is and has been accurately reflected by all
but you Elizabeth on this issue.

Again, those things are in the recordings if you don't listen or don't
trust those who fund you in this endeavor.

Finally I'll say simply, "Stop playing games."

And, that goes to you too Donna.

The times are dire for those who are blind in America and Michigan and none
of us can afford bovine scatology... (If you don't know what tthat means
than look it up!)

Joe

If this is how the board would like to see this motion reflected in the
minutes, then that is fine. It's just that as I read over the minutes, it
sounds as though the motion was to keep the original motion that was made
during a previous meeting. Hence the reason for clarification. However, if
others feel as though this issue is settled, then I will not discuss the
issue any further.
