Dear Exhibitor:

During the week of July 3 through July 8, more than 3,000 people will be in Orlando, Florida, for the 2011 Convention of the National Federation of the Blind.   This convention promises to be an exciting, productive, and memorable week for the organized blind of this country.  Your product or service is of interest to blind persons, and I believe that our convention can provide unequaled exposure for your organization.  Therefore, I cordially invite you to exhibit at our convention.

One of the attached documents is titled "Exhibitor Guidelines."  Please read and become familiar with these guidelines.  Exhibitors are asked to pay an exhibit fee of $950 for each table in order to help defray convention costs.  Please let us know of your intentions to exhibit at the convention by completing the attached exhibitor application or the online application and then sending your exhibit fee, plus electric fee if needed, by Friday, May 27, to:

Because of the increasing demand, space allocation will be based, in part, on the order in which we receive applications.  In addition, there will be a limited number of spaces available at a discounted rate for blind owners of small businesses who are unable to pay the full exhibit fee.

The National Convention Web page provides additional information about our convention, including information about hotel room reservations.  All room reservations must be made directly with the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel by calling (866) 996-6338.  As in the past, we reserve the right to condition convention rates for hotel rooms on proof of registration for the convention.  The exhibitor fees do not include the convention registration fee of $15 per person during the pre-registration time frame of March 1 through May 31, which can be done online or by mailing in a pre-registration form.  If you complete the National Convention Pre-registration Form with the intention of returning it with your exhibitor application form, be certain to send separate payment for the registration fee.  Please DO NOT combine the payments of exhibitor and convention registration fees.  We cannot accept a credit card for mailed-in pre-registration payments.  In addition, be sure to note on the form that you are an exhibitor and the name of your organization.  This will allow us to have all of your materials, including your convention badges and ribbons in the exhibit hall for you.

If you do not pre-register for the convention, please be aware that registration can be accomplished beginning Monday, July 4, at a cost of $20 per person. Registration remains open all day Monday and will be open at the other times provided in the convention agenda.

Be sure to review our 2011 Sponsorship Opportunities, which will be of particular interest to those exhibitors who would benefit from the increased recognition, visibility, and opportunity to be open in the exhibit hall during a special Sponsor Preview from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, July 4.  In addition, your sponsoring organization will have an advertisement in our 2011 Convention Agenda provided art-ready files are received by April 30.  Please review the sponsorship information carefully to determine all of the benefits related to being a sponsor at this year's convention, and use the attached Sponsor Form to show your support of the blind across the United States.
