I beg to differ with you and others here Fred. This isn't a partisan issue.
This is an issue of fundamental democracy with a small d. It is an issue of
open, transparent and accountable governance and has been all along. It is
an issue of federal prerogatives and federal civil rights afforded to all
and a countenance to fundamental civil and constitutional civil rights
afforded to all as well.

More than that, but included in that is a countenance to the fundamental and
primary purpose of our federal government and the primacy of rule of law
over the rule of man.

For too damned long the rule of man in this state over all and in this
country and related to the rights of the blind as an inclusive part of that
have been dominated by partisan whims and caprices of political parties and
those of the "spoils" system.

This is sick garbage.

I have been along with others like Tenbroek, to name a few here consistent
on that account throughout and I'll be consistent to the end.

Regardless, no matter what Party or whatever dominates our affairs and in
spite of constitutional guarantees of checks and balances which are twisted
here in Michigan beyond any notion, in documented form of extortions beyond
all belief, we need to again have openness, transparency and accountability.

None of that has been forthcoming under any administration here in Michigan.
But, I will say this: The technocrats including Zimmer, Cannon, et al are
acting in secret and unaccountable fashions under this administration beyond
my wildest of dreams and they make Grandholm who wasn't a saint or pussycat
on these matters by any definition look like a pussycat of obliqueness if
that was even possible.

Bottom line though as I've stated in the past we are not supposed to be
separate of the civil rights and Constitutional angles of our governance,
whether state, local or federal. We, the blind are not a separate party or
distinct of the endowed human rights and other rights of this republic and
nor are we devoid of responsibilities as citizens to demonstrate our rights
in that collective bargain called government.

And McB nor the State of Michigan isn't supposed to be a plutocracy, or a
totalitarian "big brother" either. It ain't a charity. It ain't again a
plutocracy, or isn't supposed to be one. And this does go to we who are
blind because we ain't supposed to be devoid basic of Constitutional rights
and inalienable rights of basic citensry anymore than anyone else for that
matter!

Now, while I personally as I've stated publicly am decidedly left of center
for whatever that is worth it is irrelevent to this debate. For once again
under this Executive Order alone this Governor and his minions has violated
in documented fashion all sorts of laws from again the OMA, to the Rehab Act
to the FOIA.

And if you don't like the rule of law then you either like the rule of
totalitarianism, or outright anarchy or the rule of fascism.

All are a bhorent to the rights of the blind, enshrined by notions of great
civil rights leaders like Tenbroek who sought for us to be equal citizens in
this democratic-republic.

By the way Fred Oliver, I've been known to fight for your rights and others
in Missouri to the pension and other issues you all get in that state.

I'll tell you outright that I think your notions here from afar intruding on
my basic and fundamental human, constitutional and other rights in this
regarrds is most abhorent, odious and perfidious.

I have other words for this infamy but let it stand that "bullshit" suffices
to state my state of mind at your offense again from afar as to our state
here.

How dare you, Fred put forth this crap to us who are suffering so much while
you and, again you personally profit from federal activists like myself who
crosses against the grain in some cases by the way over the so-called NFB
and ACB divide?

Sit there in Missouri hunkering down with your state and other benefits that
the likes of me and others have fought for and then continue to spit in our
face!

That is totallyoutragious! Totally!
