[nfbmi-talk] this is a tragic cause of blindness

Sorry for not spell checking previous posts Terry and all.

Let, me say just a few more things as a human being who happens to be blind
and who happens to know many people blind, otherwise disabled and who were
not disabled who happen to be victims of abuse of all sorts including
sexus=al and physical abuse in youth or infancy.

I must state unequivocably I have no and repeat no forgiveness in my heart
for the perpretrators of such hidious things. I just do not and because I've
since come to know and love many a victim of this sort of abuse over years
I'm even more hardened to their offences.

And I'm not talking about ambiguous events, but well... We all know what I'm
talking about here.

Yet, I must say that in spite of my own failings in the forgiveness realm
and not in the forgetting realm I am inspired by the resillence, not
compliance, but true resillience of victims of such utter perfidy and
disaster.

I guess all I can say here is it is remarkable to me that some and, indeed
many victims of horrendous abuse tdo learn not to forget but to forgive
their victimizers.

I've never learned that personally.

But, again while I do not by any means forgive the perps myself, even those
whom have been predators against others, I am stunned, and also admire the
victims of such sordid abuse who can forgive tthe perpretrators of abuse.

I guess this is a long way about saing they are better humans or, better
spiritually than I am. For I cannot forgive these creeps for all the evil
they do.

I just cannot.
And I fight to stop this cycle of abuse with all that is in me.

Joe
