Dear Larry,

You make some wonderful observations and we must always recognize the
advances and blessings we have recieved. Many of those you have mention
have been blessed with God given gifts and have worked hard to advance
themselves. However, many unnamed blind people have also done the same,
while at the same time fought for the opportunity for all of us. What would
the blessings or opportunities be like if we did not join together in the
National Federation of the Blind to open the doors and educate the schools
and push for equality.
We still need to do the same for ourselves and others who may come along.
We have much to do and to few working. We need to gather our knowledge, our
strength and our spirit and do what needs to be done. We all have
responsibilities in the organization and we have promised our members that
we would be responsible, so lets start saying(What can I do?) and not (What
hasnpt the other person done?) That means you , that means me, that means
our board, that means our chapter and division presidents and that means our
members.

Dave
