Some sense that there will be silence in the woods because September is here. September sounds are different but quite enjoyable. Consider joining us this Saturday, September 10 at the University of Michigan-Dearborn Environmental Interpretive Center to experience the “Sounds of September”. At 10a m we will walk in the woods while the mosquitoes are napping. Lunch will be provided and the afternoon will include tree touch identification as well as bugging by ear. For more information please call Donna Posont, 313-220-8140. Also don’t forget to join us the following weekend for Beyond Batty Behavior at Camp Tuhsmeheta.
