This is a reminder that our next virtual verbal description program for The
Henry Ford is coming up on Monday, October 28, from 2-4 pm EDT.  The program
will be about Pyrex, Corning Ware, and Corelle: Enduring Kitchen Icons from
Corning.  A description is below.  If you are interested in attending or

The Henry Ford Virtual Verbal Description Program - Pyrex, Corning Ware, and
Corelle: Enduring Kitchen Icons from Corning

Time: 2-4 pm EDT

 

Three brands developed by Corning Glass Works during the 20th century -
Pyrex, Corning Ware, and Corelle - became household names that
revolutionized American kitchens and endured decades of changing consumer
tastes and expectations.

 

Please join curator of decorative arts Charles Sable for an insightful
program on how Corning and its innovations changed American lives and
lifestyles over the course of the 20th century.

 

This experience will be conducted remotely in verbal description and
conversation. The program will be held via Zoom and will be accessible by
web link and call-in phone number, depending on your preference.
