[Nfbmo] Feedback wanted but not about the Meat

Hi,
I really enjoyed the agenda items this year more
than I have in years past at state conventions
I've attended. I thought a variety of subjects
were covered. I do have a couple thoughts. Note
that these are based on Wisconsin's state
convention formats I really liked. We don't have
to be like them but could do something similar.
First, having all the resolutions at once can get
kind of long at least for me. Would it be
possible to deal with a resolution at the time of
the subject? For example, we hear from a
representitive of Rehab Services and have a
resolution about Rehab. This year a lot of them
were not attached to a specific item on the
agenda so doing it that way may not always work.
Second, I like to have smaller group based
lunches. All the divisions can either have their
meeting or some kind of short program. We did
this in Wisconsin and it seemed to work good. I
would add a lunch for those not associated with a
specific group. We don't have to have as fancy of
a lunch and it could be served box style or
buffet. Doing it this way like Susan suggested
would be in place of some of Friday's program.
The key is to keep the balance of social and structure.
Peace,
Cari
