Wow! Unbelieveable! It's far from April 1st, or I might question whether or not this were real. To me, it says there is no longer enough money to be made from these products to keep one, even two, of these intities going without even once competitive companies coming together. I guess there is something to be said for accessible out-of-the-box technology. We will still have several other choices with braille displays and notetakers, it looks like, but not with screen reading and magnification software.

What are your thoughts on this? In my humble opinion, this is not a good trend for blind consumers. Like any other group we benefit from competition and choice.
