John sent me a reply, I'll forward it for those who are having problems. 
To summarize it's a glitch in the way NFB's database works, they hope to 
have it fixed next year.

Kevan, thanks for forwarding this message thread. What you, the Fords, 
and others have experienced is a flaw in the way our database operates. 
The software sends confirmations to what has been previously designated 
as your primary email address rather than the one you, just moments 
before, entered into the registration form. It's more than a little 
frustrating. We do indeed have the email you used to register stored in 
our database. I expect that we'll have this glitch figured out by the 
time we all begin registering for convention next year. I do apologize 
for the confusion. Looking forward to seeing online this July.

Brent and I experience the same thing. We registered on May 30. It put a 
totally incorrect email in for Brent as confirmation and it put an email 
that I don’t use for my confirmation. Neither one of us entered in any 
alternative email addresses other than our current ones.
Do I need to report this error to someone? If so, who? Glad to know it 
wasn’t some weird fluke with us. I thought it was pretty weird though.
