I would like to express to all of you that the suggested time is not set in stone and is certainly open to negotiation to find a more suitable Time if the suggested time will not work for the majority. I have never tried to schedule any of our meetings in some secretive way. It was simply that I consulted with the state President to schedule around the busy schedule of the federation while scheduling in a timely manner. Thank you again to the committee for all you do.

As such, I would recommend that committee members not attend this meeting in protest of how this meeting was scheduled. What a shameful way to conduct business.

In the interest of wrapping up our efforts with this legislative session, it certainly makes sense to meet and discuss where we are and where we need to focus our efforts as the session wraps up. I spoke with President Wright earlier and we decided to schedule a meeting for next Thursday, May 13th at 7 PM. Please add this time to your calendar and I’ll send out the Zoom information early next week.
