part of the problem is that people don't see us as strong capable folks 
able to work. We also were told on one occasion by a well meaning friend 
that you mean you nice people don't get a free house? He was serious. 
People believe we get all of this free stuff so don't need mimimum wage 
or benefits because oh my don't you qualify for medicaid.
