When you join the discussion group Stylist, of the NFB Writers Division,
this is the text in the welcoming email.
I just went and grabbed it and am pasting it below.
I hope that helps.
There are links here to follow up on.
The biggest is the Writers Division website:

Robert Newman is the president and he also has info on the monthly phone
conferences.
And don't forget about the writing contest! Deadline of April 1.
Thanks.

ABOUT STYLIST & NFB WRITERS DIVISION

Stylist members share tips and resources about writing, how to best
utilize assistive technology, what Is current in the world of
blogs, websites and publications, discuss books and other
publications, share personal writing and provide constructive
feedback, support individual writing endeavors and much, much more.

Participating on Stylist also connects users with members of the
Writers Division, which you can join for $10 per year.
There's no cost to join Stylist, but there are benefits to
becoming a member of the Division itself.

As a Writers Division member, you have access to information
and material published by the National Federation of the Blind as well
as the Writers Division, including Slate& Style, the
Division's writing magazine.

Division members also can participate on monthly teleconference calls
discussing various topics pertaining to writing. Often published
authors or editors are guest, and a different topic is chosen each
month. There are also months where call participants share their
personal writing with each other.

Division members have an active voice including voting rights for the
Division. An annual business meeting is held during the NFB'S
yearly convention. Members are privy to special guest, exciting
information and are allowed to bring business before the membership of
the Division.
