Research Title: Research on Addressing Health Disparities in Mental
Health Services for the Disability Community

Being conducted by: University of Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs

Purpose of the Study

We hope to learn about the experiences people with disabilities have
encountered in mental health spaces. The goal is to develop training
for mental health practitioners so they are able to competently work
with people with disabilities and to reduce ableism amongst mental
health professionals.

Role of the Participants and Anticipated Length of the Study

The study would be less than a 3 hour commitment.

Once interested participants email us, we will coordinate a time to
do schedule a brief 10-15 minute screening call, have the screening
call, send them the online survey, and have a 60-90 minute virtual
interview. They will then get compensated with a $50 gift card.

Proposed Participant Compensation

Yes, $50 digital gift card
